About Lab
The interest for the laboratory is biophysical characterization of model biological membranes. Membrane is playing a key role for membrane proteins functioning, such as ion channels, receptors, photoactive proteins and many others. It is of crucial importance to choose a suitable membrane mimetic media for structural determination by X-Ray crystallography or NMR spectroscopy.
The main goal of our lab is developing novel membrane mimetics and additives for structural and functional investigations of membrane protein.
